GigNut is a local live-music platform: fans discover shows near them, venues promote their calendar, and acts get found and booked. We launch city by city, starting in the South Bend area.

Yes — creating any profile (fan, performer, or venue) is always free. The only paid feature is optional promotion (boosts and spotlight placement).

Tap Log in, pick the tile that matches you, and continue with Google. One login can hold several roles — you can be a fan and run an act with the same account.

Currently, all venues must be listed on Google (a Google Business Profile / Google Maps listing) before they can be added to GigNut — we use the Google listing to confirm the venue is real and to verify its phone number. If your venue isn't on Google yet, create a free Google Business Profile first, then claim your venue here.

Every new act and venue is reviewed by our team before it goes live, so fans never see fake or misleading listings. Fill out your profile, press Save, and you'll be reviewed shortly. If we ask for changes, the reason appears at the top of your dashboard.

A partnership is a mutual approval between an act and a venue. Venues can only schedule acts they've partnered with (and vice versa). Either side can request one — the other side reviews the profile and message before accepting. It is NOT a legal contract: payment and booking arrangements must be in your own written agreement.

Venues can post discounted drink/food deals per show or as standing weekly deals. Look for the 🍹🍔 badge on show tiles — tap it to see the deal. Specials must be genuine discounts and are honored by the venue, not by us.

Boosts are paid pushes that put a show or profile in front of more nearby fans — boosted content is always labeled Sponsored. The home-page spotlight is a rotating tile acts can bid on (free for new acts). Everything lives in your dashboard's Spotlight tab.

Acts and venues have a referral code (Connect/Account tab). When someone signs up with your code, you earn advertising credits. Acts can share their code with anyone; venues share by email with acts and venues.

Open the conversation and tap Block — they can no longer message you. You can manage everyone you've blocked under Messages → Blocked users. For serious issues, contact us (below) and we'll review the account; users who violate our Terms of Use can be removed.

No. Phone numbers, emails, legal names, birthdates, and exact locations are never shown publicly. Performers may optionally let venues (only) see their phone number. Venues only ever see aggregate fan analytics — never individual fan data.

Listings are posted by venues and acts, and things change — always confirm with the venue before traveling. If a venue and act post conflicting times, both are automatically alerted to reconcile.

Open your dashboard's Account tab and tap Delete my account at the bottom. You'll get a confirmation step first — continuing deletes all of your information.
